about time

hi. 
  i'm sitting in the Mpls Convention Center thats filled with females screaming about food.  I'm playing for the "Tastefully Simple" convention and will be here til 11:30PM (and have been here since Thursday). Its been a hurry up and wait game.. at least they have free coffee, major bonus. (and wireless)
I thought i'd actually write something about something.  so it goes__:::::)))__+:)(&$*#(@
FASHION.  1.  Thrift shopping.  I do A LOT of this and its so fun to find really unique dresses... one problem seems to be consistent.. they're usually too long.  which leads to...... 
2. Jessica Rae Freed.  If you don't know who this lady is, you should. Check out the website http://www.comealongfawn.etsy.com  creator of these lovely, beautiful dresses.... she's also hemming my thrift purchases!! wonderful talent here. and a super rad chick to top it off (did i mention she is ddg ((drop dead gorgeous??))). go take a look. go buy a dress!
MUSIC.
   I've pretty much been working all month with the Urban Myth Band (cover band),.. so my desire for mpls music has increased as i've been a bit deprived of its musical habitat.   i love love love the local scene round here.  I jump between the hippie and hipster scenes. yes its possible,  i love both. i have friends in both.  hey, i know the 2 scenes have a love/hate relationship (or so "they" say).,. whatever,  i'm used to being stuck between some strange polar love issue like that.  it makes me feel comfortable, at home (eh, there's worst things).  i've been wanting to check out 'hello blue', a couple of friends of mine play in that band,... i miss seeing clawthroat (sigh) and what else,... zoo animal has grown on me more esp lyrically. pb&thejam are growing on me as well..they're sick, u have to see them to agree with me.   i'm curious to hear haley bonars new record,..  i'm looking forward to playin a show w/ the fontanelles in august (25th) (uber fun band).  OH i almost forgot,.. i'm playing solo @ the fineline on August 4th. .. for a writers round. many friends of mine that front bands or write will be a part of this show.. should be a flipping blast with round off's and splits.

WEIRD BIRD.
